Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS

We accept cancellation requests, within 12 hours of placing your order, to receive a full refund. Any cancellation requests of painted part orders after 12 hours will result in a 35% cancellation fee. 

We cannot accept cancellation request for unpainted part orders after 12 hours. Please email us so we can timestamp your request.

RETURNS

We accept returns within 30 days of the date of delivery. Please reach out to us first with any questions, or concerns, regarding a possible return. We have an applicable 35% restocking fee on returns. 

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs if the part is no longer needed, the wrong part was ordered, the wrong paint color was selected, or for any other forms of “buyer’s remorse.” Return shipping can be very expensive so please make sure your order is correct, and you are certain you want the product. 

Do not refuse a delivery. If you refuse an item the return shipping cost will be deducted from any refund amount.

DAMAGES

Contact us within 15 days of the date of delivery if your order arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong order or paint color. Claims made after this period may not be accepted, so we recommend inspecting your item(s) as soon as you receive them. 

Do not refuse a damaged delivery. We need photographic evidence of how the item was delivered, and damaged, to file a claim. If you refuse an item, the return shipping cost will be deducted from any refund amount.

Do not repackage your order until you have communicated with us first. We will request pictures to process your damage claim. 

Paint A Part is not responsible for labor fees, towing charges, storage charges, repair costs, lost wages, rental expenses, or any other incidental costs related to the installation of incorrect or damaged parts. It’s your responsibility to confirm the parts meet your needs before installation. 

REFUNDS

Payments for orders are captured as soon as they have been successfully placed. Any full or partial refunds will be issued via the same payment method originally used to place the order. It takes a few business days for a refund credit to appear on your account. 

In return cases please email us the return tracking number once the package shows as delivered. We inspect the return and contact you once the refund has been initiated.

In some damage cases, return of the physical product may not be required for a refund. For these products, instructions will be provided on how to destroy the product or render it unusable. 

LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS

Paint A Part is not responsible for lost, or stolen, item claims when the carrier provides proof of delivery. 

WRONG ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and accurate shipping address at checkout. Once a package has been shipped, we can no longer redirect it. 

If an order is delivered to a wrong address, there is no guarantee we will get that package back to us. If an order is delivered back to us, the buyer is responsible for the cost to ship that order back out to them.

There are no refunds on orders not received because a buyer provides an incorrect shipping address.

DISCLAIMER ABOUT PAINTED PARTS

We paint orders to match the original factory paint code, not the current color of your vehicle. Paint color changes over time due to several factors like age and climate. For this reason, we are unable to guarantee an exact paint match. However, the majority of our customers are satisfied with the resulting quality and color we deliver. 

Painted parts should not be power washed, waxed, ceramic coated, or otherwise modified for 90 days after delivery. The paint needs time to cure to its hardest state.

Also, bumpers should be removed from the box and packaging soon after delivery. Even if you plan installation at a later date, you do not want to leave the bumper to cure inside the box. 

WARRANTY

We have a limited 1-year warranty on painted parts. The warranty covers the paint job only on issues of cracking, flaking, or peeling. The warranty does not cover rock chips. The warranty is void if the part has been modified in any way. The warranty is good for a one-time replacement, or partial refund, per purchased item. Once a replacement is received in satisfactory condition, or a partial refund issued, the warranty will be considered fulfilled.
